If you look back – He’s our Creator
For by him all things were created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and for him.
This teaches us: The Universe, the details of earth and its beauty!!
Our action should be: Acknowledgement and Praise!
If you look Ahead – He’s our Judge
II Co 5:10
For we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
This teaches us: We are accountable for our actions!
Our action should be: Fear the Lord!
If you look Down – He’s our sustainer
He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
This teaches us: From the expend of the universe to the details of our lives!
Our action should be: Trust in him in all circumstances!
If you look Up – He’s our savior and Lord
Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
This teaches us: Remind yourselves about the cross, that brought us grace of God and through grace came eternal life through Jesus Christ resurrection.
Our action should be: Be Grateful!
If you look to the right - He’s our teacher
But don’t you be called ‘Rabbi,’ for one is your teacher, the Christ, and all of you are brothers.
This teaches us: Knowledge and wisdom is in his word!
Our action should be: Meditate in his word!
If you look to the Left – He’s our advocate
I Jn 2:1
My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous.
This teaches us: In the supreme court of the universe we have an attorney we can truly trust.
Our action should be: Confess all your sins to the Lord He is righteous to forgive!
If you look within – He’s our Life
I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
This teaches us: To carry our own cross!
Our action should be: Righteousness, conduct, endurance, perseverance, fruits of the spirit, character of Christ!
In all directions we find the bible to be our guidance.
